Garage List
I waxed 2 weeks after I took delivery of the car. The car was painted approx. 01/03/2012, and I waxed it 02/13/2012.

I've heard about waiting a period to let the paint set/cure, but that was after I waxed it. I didn't notice any adverse effects. Paint (Carbon Black, no less) still looks pristine. I waxed it again in mid-08/2012, and I could tell a big difference in the appearance of the metal flakes and the way water glides right off compared to the times I washed it just before my second waxing.

I'm no expert on this, but that's my experience. If it were super important, you'd think they'd make a point to inform you of special care guidelines.

Hi 6th!! Modern paints are not like the old ones where we had to wait for them to cure. Wax away and enjoy.
