If only you could start the A/C in the summer and heater in the winter!!!
Unfortunately that would entail turning the car on remotely, which BMW has no interest in doing.

I beg to differ. It is quite effective in coating the entire inside of your windows with fine mist when you turn it on during a hot day and did not check to see if it had rained.
Imagine that scene from Titanic but without the sex. |

While it does not help the m6 the i8's will heat and cool remotely because of the large battery. Down side of remote start for gas engines in a cold zone is oil takes too long to heat up hence pre-mature engine wear.
