On the 155mph: Many years back, the main manufacturers of cars in Germany agreed on a voluntary speed limiter on all their cars (250 kp/h) for safety reasons. Porsche did not sign that and hence does not do limiters on their cars. ... On the other hand there was a 100HP limit on motorcycles at one point. We all know where that went....

Would the delimiter be removed if the dealer does an update to the ECU? Therefore, every time the ECU is updated then the delimiter would have to be reprogrammed.
