The problem is, for me anyway, is that the exhaust note for the stock M6 exhaust isn't all that great, and certainly not worth the cost of the hardware and install fee.

If I'm going to do it, I want something that sounds a bit throatier, deeper, and certainly a bit meaner.

Yes, this is also the reason why I didn't go with it. Plus, after market exhausts real drone seriously. I hate drone so much.
Have looked at Capristo exhaust but I am afraid of drones and the sky-high damage in my financial world.

Yeap, I am with you on that. It doesn't sound that great on the road.

By the way, a member here posted Meisterschaft for sale. His reason was he upgraded from 650i GC to M6 GC, and Meisterschaft won't fit on his new car. Anyway, that was something that made me think about M6 exhaust fitting on 650.

Yep, checked out the thread. Maybe some custom works need to fit the M6 exhaust to a 650.

The Akra exhaust for the M5/6 is also the M-performance exhaust for those cars when you order the competition package. If the regular M6 exhaust fits on the 650, then so should the Akra.
