Messages and iphone

Has anyone been able to get any messages read from their iPhone? I have it connected via Bluetooth but nothing is coming thru.

Go to settings, then Bluetooth, and click the icon that brings up the information for the specific device, i.e. the car. Turn on the switch for notifications. That should allow you to get your text messages. Emails only come through if you go through this process every single time you get in the car.

I can get email now by just closing the email app after the BT connects. Still a pain, but less steps.

Funny you mention that. I noticed today an e-mail showed up. iOS update, I guess...
