White or red calipers?
I have white 6 series and I blacked out mirror, grill and wheels. What do you guys think of white calipers ? I think it will match the exterior!
So what you think? |

I would leave them alone unless either you plan to disassemble the brakes and have the calipers powder coated. Painting calipers have never looked good after 6 months, the heat generated by the brakes and the exposure to the elements fades the paint, makes it chip, and change shades. It just ends up looking cheap IMO.

These are great. MGP aircraft aluminum caliper covers. I special ordered with BMW logo on them. They reduce brake dust, and are easy to install with stainless hardware. Love 'em.

They look good, and they look like they are powder coated! Just gotta make sure they clear if you have aftermarket wheels and offsets.

Yes they are powder coated. And yes would need to confirm they would clear aftermarket rims. There is plenty of clearance in the rears - but the front's are close. Other nice thing is they are completely reversible, no modifications needed.

Also made me appreciate the weight of this 20" wheel, run-flat tire combo - wow. |

I plan on taking a page from your book in a few months with my new car. The caliper covers add a nice touch.

I hear you. I do really like the look of the factory 373M wheels. I may change to non runflat tires at some point which will knock off a few pounds, but am going to keep these rims.

Sorry, but they do look fake. Instead, you coul use powdercoating, or caliper special thermoresistent paint, and just paint them in any colour you want.
I opted for the M blue.

Powder coating is a little bit of a tough option compared to these covers, it's the best option for the look, but you have to disassemble the brakes and send them out for about 1 week. In regards to painting them, from experience the spray paint always ends up getting darker and changes shades from the heat and wear over 6 months to a year.
