Performance vs. Comfort. M1 & M2 Steering Wheel Options

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Was hoping to start a thread and get feedback on how everyone is setting up they're performance VS. comfort settings.

Right now I have M1 set to all comfort options and the opposite for M2 which set up with all sport, sport plus etc.

Interested to see what everyone has to say and if there is a specific combination that is recommended based on everyones feedback.

My non-M1 and non-M2 (standard setting) is efficient/comfort

Standard = efficient + comfort
M1 = sport mode in manual (S3)
M2 = sport+ mode in auto (D3)

I see M1 and M2 as my "drive insane" modes.

In standard mode, that's my daily driver.

Most of the time, I drive in Efficient/Comfort/Comfort with the lowest shift speed in D (default settings).

For some fun, I use M1 which is Sport+ suspension, Sport+ throttle response and Comfort steering (I don't like the heavy feel of anything stiffer than Comfort). Shift speed is on (S)3, and I exclusively shift manually with the paddles when in M1.

M2 is the same as M1 but with automatic shifting. However, I never really activate M2 at all. Manual is just too much fun - if you haven't tried it yet, you should!

Just got mine. Last M Car was an E39 back when they had manuals. Traded in my '11 550i (lease) and 2006 C4S cab (and some $'s) for the beast. Stil getting use to it, but this is where I am so far:

Default - Daily driving
M1 - sport everything, D2, and default HUD
M2 - sport plus response, everything else sport, S2, and M HUD

Thoughts?

BTW, my dealer left the chin spoiler in the trunk. Should I bother putting it on or will I kill it with curbs anyway?

Basically the same as the poster. M1 is sport everything with D mode in the trans, M2 is MDM and basically highest settings on everything else manual mode. Give me the best of all worlds, starts off in comfort and then M1 for sporty driving and M2 for all out.

Its the black plastic piece that comes from the factory but is not installed on the front of our M6's. The dealer is supposed to install it.

Its slightly tucked underneath and harder to see:
