My brandnew 640i

Hi all!

I'm new here at the forum. Driving BMW's since years and having actually an X5 xDrive 40d I got last week my new 640i Convertible here in Switzerland.

Here are some pictures of it...

Did you have the chrome blacked out or is that an option over there? "Shadowline trim" wasn't available here in the states when I ordered.

Shadowline is an option in the UK and, I suspect the rest of Europe. However, having seen both trim versions, I much prefer the chrome look as it really emphasises the long-low perspective and provides a very clear separation between the body and roof.
Not that I'm saying the shadowline looks inferior - it's all a matter of preference.

The pictures look just as great as in real life

I just got my 640 as well. I'll see if I can post some pictures of it. The summer looks bright, even here in Oslo....
