Good deal on a 2012 640i coupe??

So I see that BMW is currently offering a 36 month lease on any remaining 2012 640i coupes for $699 plus tax a month (MSRP of $76,295)..That's the lowest I have ever seen the 6 series go for. Granted you have to put down close to $6,000 total up front so I decided to call a few dealerships and one place quoted me the following...

Vehicle Price: $80,895.00
Market Savings: - $10,405.00
Customer Rebate: - $1,250.00
SmartChoice Price: $69,240.00

Seems like a great deal however the monthly lease payments still seemed pretty high to me....If I were to put down $3,000 total up front my monthly would be $849 incl tax and for $5,000 its $790.

Please share your experiences with your 6 series lease deals and let me know if I am getting a good deal or not...but according to what BMW is offering and what the selling price of the car is I should be at high $600s or low $700's...

Thanks!

MrRX34,

Question for you - I'm in the market for a 650 coupe. Whats the deal with the $1250 customer rebate you mention? Have not seen that -is it for '12 model year only?

Thanks

Guess it is for existing BMW customers but I kinda don't see how all these rebates really help seems like I can get a 2013 for the same monthly payments...

Dan K,

If you dont mind me asking which dealership did you get your 640 vert from? (you can PM with specifics if thats cool) That sounds like a way better deal!

Funny how these dealers try to brainwash you in thinking your getting a great deal by chopping off thousands from MSRP but in reality they are really making a killing off you...totally gets on my nerves
