Looks like one could put a baby seat in the rear seating middle?

Had some spare time to make a proper picture set of the M6 Gran Coupé.

Enjoy!

Will probably get one when my 650 lease is up, hopefully they will change the aluminum around the gear box by then. The one in the 650 looks better in my opinion.

Stunning. Clearly one of the most beautiful cars on the road, at any price.

But, oh boy, that price...

Don't get me wrong...It's a good looking car. Just priced incorrectly.

I'll take an Audi S7 all day.

M6 MSRP: $117,425
S7 MSRP: $78,800 + Equipment = $89,000

I don't think there will be people who want to "buy" this car. They'll probably just lease at a good rate (tax write off reasons etc). With that said, the lease payment will probably still be competitive to an S7.

1. Those aren't comparable cars. S7 compares to a 650GC. You would want to compare M6GC to RS7.

2. Don't forget to add in the cost of 4 years of scheduled maintenance on the Audi.

Michael, great points.

1. But in a recent comparison, the M5 can't even hold its own against an S6. I'm not sure what an RS6 would do to it.

2. Audi offers their vehicle AWD standard....so if you were to add AWD to the M6 GC, be sure to add another 3-4k and treat like it like an xdrive.

Not trying to start a brand war or anything....It just doesnt make sense to go w the M6 that's all.

Prices are dirty cheap anyway in the States, this very M6 was €194.000,- in the Netherlands.

M6 GC looks so good from every angle. Such a home run design-wise.

That's complete garbage. S6 is a piece of shit compared with an M5. If it was better I would buy one. I don't think RS7 is better either. Audi other than the R8 and A8/S8 have a cheapness about them which is very noticeable.

They're like buying a Corvette - great on paper - but hard to tolerate the cheapness of the actual product.

On another note, since you form your opinions based on magazine articles, did you decide who to vote for in the election based on the Economist? Or was it Time magazine?

Test drove the S7 prior to picking up the M6.
They are both beautiful cars BUT, the audi feels light, less sturdy and did not handle as well in my opinion.I was disappointed in its performance and drive performance. The M6 is heavier, but great solid feel. It is a drivers car. And as nice as the S7 interior is, I would take an M6 interior anytime. The m6 has one of the most beautiful interiors IMO, of any car out there. The RS7 will probably be in the $110-$120 range. Really if i was driving in cold weather the AWD of the Audi would be a game changer
I have an audi s4 and BMW m3 in my garage. I prefer the ergonomics, comfort and electronics of the BMW.
Audi is notorious for uncomfortable drivers seats. Sit in a 650 GC with comfort seats and an S7 and you will feel the difference.
Dont want to start a brand war, both very nice cars
Just my two cents

I wouldn't put too much stock into what C&D says about anything BMW related. Not sure if the bias is based on advertising dollars or what, but you're not going to find any love for BMW from them, and some of the head to head comparisons that BMW loses in C&D are downright laughable.

Drive the two and decide for yourself if they are comparable. I like and have owned Audi's - they are great cars - just one small step down in quality and price from BMW. No reason to spend the extra money if the cheaper car is better, but it's just not.
