MDM Mode

Might be a dumb question but how do I Set my f13 to mdm mode?

I can't seem to find the setting in Idrive unless I'm just blind.

My X5M is simple. It says normal or M-dynamic mode.

Thanks

It's only accessible in the M drive menu and presetting it for one of your M button settings. It's not a standalone switch. Never knew it was standalone on the X5M

On my M6 I'm pretty sure it's just as simple as pressing traction button near shift lever in center. Holding it turns the TC completely off. Is there another version of MDM I've never accessed? Not next to car to verify

Just press the traction control button. Normal press for MDM mode. Hold it to turn it off.

Didn't know that. On my old M3, you can only toggle it in M mode, long hold on traction button turns it off.

Left of the shifter, top button that says OFF.

Press once; two orange lights pop up on the dash indicating MDM.

Hold down; one orange light pops up on the dash indicating it's completely off.

Hmm makes sense. But what's still confusing to me is why someone would order that wood trim on their M6.

I only wanted the carbon when I started my M6GC search, but the dark poplar wood trim is actually unique.... I like unique.... I like my dark poplar wood trim.....

When you repeat things many times, it ultimately becomes truth.
