Discounts

Looking to get a BMW 6-series and am taking a quick peak at the discount programs.

Someone mentioned BMW CCA ($1k rebate it seems?). Would I be able to join a few days before buying the car? How does it typically work?

Also someone mentioned corporate discount programs. I think someone told me before I could join USA Swimming or something to get corporate pricing - any ideas? I don't work in a big company, so no corporate BMW discounts.

So, this was recently updated. You can now buy a three year CCA membership and get the rebate immediately. Previously, you had to be a member for a calendar year before you could get the rebate. For a new 6er(MY 17, 18, 19), you would get a $1000 rebate. If it is a CPO, it's $250.

Thank you! Anywhere on the site where it mentions the 3-year rule? Seems like a no brainier. It works on leases too, right?

And do I have to mention his to the dealer or I do it myself after the purchase?

see the "New update" part. Buy the three year membership before the car. Won't count if you have a purchase date after your membership date. Yes, works for leases too.

No. As long as you get the three year membership before you purchase the car, you just fill out a form and scan that and a copy of the purchase/lease agreement. BMWCCA will send you a check a few weeks later. Neither the dealership or BMW NA are involved in the rebate.

How does it work? I couldn't find too much info about it on the site.
