Enzo Tuning Review

So i read alot of posts of back and forth with Enzo Tuning. After a long consideration i decided to go with him for unlocking my ECU. Couldnt be happier with my decision. Communication thoughout the Thanksgiving weekend was the best. And this was through Instagram DM. Gave him a time i would pull up to the shop and he met me there promptly. ECU was out in 15mins flat. Unlocked and in the car 30mins later ready to drive out. Enzo himself is a cool dude with lots of knowledge to gain from. Just my review on the shop and work.

I had my car tuned by Enzo about 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier with the results. The car is an animal now!! You feel the increase throughout all the gears but i think it pulls really hard in 3rd gear. He writes a new program for your car boosting the turbo output and other things that i am not smart enough to explain. Lol. I spoke to him about throwing my car on the dyno so that i could post the baseline and gains figures. I think we'll do it after the holidays. I totally get how most guys wanna see dyno results before the pull the trigger on a tune, so I'll post some figures as soon as i get it done.

Would love to see some before and after real world numbers. I'll probably go with a flash tune route next year. I currently just have a Racechip.

Hey man...which shop do you use or is going to use for your dyno results.
I need to get some numbers on my car before continuing with my mods.

Also, how do you like the intake?

Enzo would be a good spot to get dyno results from. Im soon to be using BM3 OTS as a main tune and heading to use Felix Tuning to do the final touches.

OP, what intakes do you have? Are you worried about heat soak where they are?
What made you decide to go bootmod3?

*UPDATE* never mind. I see you're a 640i. I can't find dick on this forum about tuned 650i's

Several good flash tunes for the 650. BPC, Mission, etc. Mission has a transmission flash as well. There aren’t many aftermarket part options for the 650’s yet. You can do downpipes and exhaust. You can also upgrade the Turbos. If you start doing much more than that, and tune for it, you are going to exceed the limits of your transmission, and if you are going to tweak your car that much you might as well spend the extra now for the M6 and build from there.

There's no transmission flash for ZF8 auto YET!

You can upgrade Turbos but the limits of torque/power is in the Tuning Tables nothing to do with a transmission flash

650 is def a better option than a 640, N63Tu is a great powerful engine can go up to 650whp with Turbo/RaceGas/GoodTune no JB4 needed either
M6 is RWD, and the advantage of the 650 would be for those wanting AWD / ZF8auto / and not worrying about the limits of surpassing 690wtq on the S63Tu that would require clutches and tires since it will spin all day

The N63tu motor is paired with the 8hp70, a version of the ZF8 transmission, and Mission has a tune for it. https://missiontuning.com/bmw-transm...lash-tune.html

Of course the transmission flash doesn’t increase power. My point is that increasing power too far through add ons can exceed the limit of the transmission to handle that power, resulting in transmission failure.
