Full size spare

I was wondering if a front 20' wheel can be used in the back as a full size spare.
Does it fit? I am thinking to get one on eBay. It comes to he alsmot the same price as buying a portable spare donut for $370 or so.

It will fit. Many x-drive such as my 640iX GC have the square tire set up. You could even buy a 19" rim for temporary use. This would save you a few pounds compared to the 20". You would just need to buy the correct tire which I believe would be 245/40ZR19 if you car has the 245/35/20 in the front and 275/30/20 in the rear.

I have the spacesaver spare and it does take up quite a bit less room than having the full size tire in the trunk. For long road trips - I some times switch out the space saver and put a full size in the trunk but I dont think I would want to have the full size in the trunk all the time. YMMV.
