When my SA asked me which car my wife had bought, I told her it was a 640i. He told me "good, because if you'd have bought the 650i, you and I would be seeing a lot more of each other..."

Like with everything else in life, you gotta pay to play. The 640i is perfectly sufficient for most people. Personally, I'm a torque addict. Having said that, I am not aware of any common issues that the N63Tu has.

You may want to broaden your search radius. There are a bunch of 2014's on and coming on the market as leases end. Most will have a lot lower miles than the one you are looking at.
I'm from NY and the one im looking for is in IL, i don't mind traveling. We bought a mini cooper s for the wife from san antonio,tx (CPO 5k miles) picked up un driven in one weekend lol.

But I would be a little concern driving a car without warranty accros the country

You're right there is probably much more 2014 to come within the next few months. maybe it's worth to wait a little but I'm still checking cars.com autotrader on daily basis
I'm already in the market for couple of months so a few more won't hurt me
