I'd definitely go for the M6 nonetheless.

Yes this does seem idiotic that a car costing $20k more gets the older nav but the cheaper M5 has the newer nav. My dealer ordered in a 2013 M5 and it has the new nav along with the ///M graphic on startup. Also has the connected drive animation as well. I have heard March 2013 for 6 series but maybe the M6 will be sooner. Lets hope. Mine should be arriving at the end of the week, curious what it has.

Mine went into production last week so we'll see if I get the new nav or not. My guess is that we won't see the new Nav in the M6 until March along with the other 6er's since the cars share parts. My salesman is pretty confident I am getting the new nav but I know he is full of it.

Salesman want to sell cars...

Ask him to promise you an additional $5K discount if it doesn't come with the new Nav and see how fast he loses "confidence"...

Arrow Nav it Baby!

I for one, will not be purchasing the M6 until I am assured in writing the my vehicle will have it.

I know that the new processor is an intel, and theres more ram, but does anyone have a list of the exact new specs for the I drive?

My car is in production right now... I should have it first week in December so we will know if this info is valid or not. My guess is new nav won't be available till March 13 but I won't mind being pleasantly surprised :-)

Nav Update

My car was delivered last friday and it has the previous navigation connected drive system. It is not bad, but upsetting in a car costing $131k. I guess that all the posts indicating Mar 2013 seem to be correct. The heads up display does show a ///M on startup but that is all.
