Do I have a mechanical wastegate?
I have no idea if I'm looking at the right thing, but is that round metal thing a mechanical wastegate?

Very interesting. I was under the impression all m6 cars had electronic wastegates.
What is the reasoning for you to find out if it's electronic of mechanical? Brian |

Most M6s and M5s came with mechanical wastegates until late 2014 when BMW switched over to electronic wastegates (according to Dinan)
I saw a handful of used Dinan piggybacks for sale and wanted to make sure I have the correct version for my type of wastegate |
