Do I have a mechanical wastegate?

I have no idea if I'm looking at the right thing, but is that round metal thing a mechanical wastegate?

Just ask your dealer and they can tell you from your vin or even show you
In person. Plain and simple!

Very interesting. I was under the impression all m6 cars had electronic wastegates.

What is the reasoning for you to find out if it's electronic of mechanical?

Most M6s and M5s came with mechanical wastegates until late 2014 when BMW switched over to electronic wastegates (according to Dinan)
I saw a handful of used Dinan piggybacks for sale and wanted to make sure I have the correct version for my type of wastegate
