Shipping Companies

I'm buying a vehicle from LA and need to get it shipped to Miami. Any recommendations on which shipping company to use? What's a fair price for shipping?

i'm in southern california, and almost bought a new car from the east coast. while shipping was offered, i thought it was a great excuse for a one-way road trip in a new car!

buy the car and pay for some cheap protection on the front and hit the road. or expect roughly a thousand to have it shipped, though i couldn't recommend a company

There is a company based in Agoura Hills CA called AtoZ auto transport. I have shipped a few cars and an enclosed trailer right now with the current gas prices is probably going to run you close to $1500+/- depending on where the car is on the east coast and how easy it is to access, etc. But with the weather being good it should be pretty reasonable.

I've shipped a few cars and used Door to Door Transport. They had excellent communication and I had no complaints. Family-owned business that consistently gave me the lowest price and would match lower prices from companies I probably wouldn't do business with anyway.

Make damn sure you know that the people you talk to are the trucking company themselves and not a broker. It took me weeks to get my KR from NJ to Houston last year. Guy took my money then outsourced the job to a trucking company that had it's license revoked and used broken down tractors to pull the carrier. Be careful.

I would recommend Freedom Auto Transport or Truck It Transport Inc.

Not sure if it's too late. But intercity lines is the only one I'd trust.

Enclosed trailer then covered inside.
