Looks good, but the savings in the package is what sold me.

the package is truly a must-have. the car really really doesn't look half as good without it to me. sure, without a discerning eye, the average person will just see the bmw logo and roll with it, but i myself would absolutely would have dismissed these cars without the m-sport appearance

I would not have jumped into the 650i without the M sport package, I got lucky and they had an M sport edition on the lot at the time so I grabbed it and ran!

The LCI 6 Series Gran Coupe SE / Luxury line is not too bad. They've actually managed to give it a sporty and refined edge.
But I am never buying a non-Msprt BMW again. Did a 5-Series GT and 1-Series 'Sport' hatch and vowed to myself not to be a numptie again. Having said that, BMW needs to go beyond lightly re-heating its styling on the G-series cars Audi and Mercedes are really turning up the design language

Are you looking for more of a sport look or a "classy" look. Do you want a loud exhaust? Or more subtle?
It really depends what you are after. Last car I wanted more "classy", less intrusive sounding car, that is also quick. Went with individual package last time and no msport. This time I want a touch more of a sport look and louder exhaust note. |

To be fair, I would never go for the 6 Series without M-Sport. The SE version just looks like a bog standard BMW, imo. Might as well go for a 5 series.
The 6 Series is all about style with bags of substance and the non-M just doesn't look the part. Having said that, even the single pipes / square pipes in the 640i and 650i's, respectively didn't do enough for me - so I've installed the 'M6' quad pipes with powerflow exhaust system and sat her on 21" Gloss Silver Vossen's giving her the stance she both needs.......... and deserves. Man, is she a beauty! |

Msport package is a must for these cars. In my opinion it gives them more presence front and back they look wider and in profile the side skirts are perfect. If you want to go further with lips and diffusers the Msport has a lot more aftermarket options available. Also, it may seem like a small thing but I prefer the black headliner. After 2 Msport cars when I get in my brothers e90 I find the light grey headliner annoying.
