H & R Springs rough riding
I put some springs on a couple days ago and it looks great but the ride is really stiff and feels bouncy, it's my first time with springs so I don't know of its to be expected or maybe they need to break in. I'm not sure if the loss of ride quality is worth the better look, anyone had them on for awhile?

My only experience with H&R springs was on a F10 550i and I took them off after a few days. Just like you, the car looked nicer with the slight drop but the impact to driving was not good.

I concur here.... Now for some the drop is alot (1 inch all the way around) which creates a great compression and rebound of the shocks or the "bouncy" effect. I dont mind it--- the springs are definitely an add in the form department; our cars sit too high stock.

Thanks for the input guys.
When you say "for some the drop is a lot", do you mean for some people's opinion that's a lot or for some cars the springs drop a lot which is a different ride than you'd experience on another car? |

They won't soften up, you'll just either get used to them or rip them out.

I finally figured out that my ride sucks cause the H&R springs are made for the coupe and not the vert. ACS is doing them 1 inch in the front and .6 inch in the rear to compensate for the extra weight in the back and keep the ride nice hopefully...whenever they decide to release them.
