With that much overhang, the handling must be compromised.
From the side, it actually looks like the E92 3 series coupe with longer front and tail.

It is actually not that bad, but there are things that I see which bother me a little bit.

The first is the overhangs (as stated), they appear to be very generous and do not follow with BMW's historically short overhangs

The other thing that I just don't like, is the headlights. They seem far too large and bubbly. Almost like they were stolen from a Mini and shaped to fit on the larger front end of the 6

Just a stretched out e92 with a new front and rear bumper. The new head of design at BMW needs to find a new job!

it took me 6 years to grow to like the current 6. the new one does not look appealing at all... not aggressive and just lame.... but then again, I might change my mind in a few years...

cant wait for the new 3er.....

The car is shorter then it´s predecessor.
But has a longer wheelbase,

Therefore, it has shorter overhangs.

I like it.
The lines remind me of the DB9.

Can't wait for the M6. I think it will be

BMW has really lost it's way lately. I can see this being ok for the next 3 coupe but not for an 80k car. Once you get in this price range there are so many better options. The current z4 looks more expensive.
