I'm lowered on h&r springs and I still feel it's not low enough lol. If your willing to spend the money and you plan to keep this car for many years to come, I'd say go for the k&w.
The springs do make it look a lot more stocky/aggressive look than stock height. I guess it's all personal preferences so maybe you should search the forums for pics of the car height you like. |

I've read the KW HAS has a better ride
I think it's worth the extra money |

However, there aren't any lowered M6's in my AO to check out ride quality which is also highly subjective. |

Its funny you brought this up. I asked a shop about these two also.
First off let me say the CP F13 rides pretty low stock. But if you need more I was told the HAS kit is by far the better option if you car about the ride quality. If its just for looks save some money and go with the H&R. Personally I have the CP F13 and it looks totally fine. However my opinion of that that might change once my 21s arrive from HRE. But I still do not think I would lower it. With the Vorsteiner kit I still scrape every now and again going in and out of all of these Los Angeles drive ways and gas stations even when cutting the wheel and going in at an angle. If it was lowered even another inch ive have some serious issues I think. If you dont have a kit I think an inch lower would be just fine though. |

The KW HAS Kit is on my car and the ride is great. Any car lowered on springs only will be a rough ride. Always go for the coilover kit whenever you can as it is worth the extra money. Plus the HAS allows you to retain your EDC.
You can get the tires to just barely tuck under the fenders with the HAS like shown below. It makes for a killer look! Brian

, I've always liked the look on coils. No idea how it drives though

Quite a bit more than HR springs, but absolutely worth it.

Best ride quality and most adjustability, longest installation, most expensive, needs EDC delete:
Coilovers (KWV3s) Good ride quality and some adjustability, moderate installation, moderately expensive, keeps EDC: KW HAS Bad ride quality, no adjustability, nice pre-set drop, easiest installation and least expensive, keeps EDC: H&R Springs In a nutshell you can go the lowest on Coilovers, but I really don't see why you would want to go lower than what you can go on springs. The ride quality is the best but you'll lose EDC and will be spending a ton of money on a system that's really more about track use when less expensive springs can do the same. KW HAS is the middle ground between springs and coils. Can be adjusted and ride great, they go lower in the rear than H&Rs, while H&Rs can go lower in the front. H&Rs are the least expensive and have the easiest "slap on and go" installation, but they ruin the ride quality. I'd go with the HAS, only reason I didn't is because they took forever to become out with them and I was lowered by the time they came out. Really don't see how n0shadowkick feels he needs to go lower on H&Rs. I'm on them and the drop in the front is about as low as I'd want to go. Anything lower would involve some major tucking of the wheel under the fender which I think is a terrible look.
