Catless down pipes

Guys, I need some feedback please.

I'm going to change the exhaust on my M6 to the Meistercraft exhaust but don't know if I should delete the cats or not. I put the Tubi exhaust on my 997tt and removed the cats and it does not blow any codes but the smell is a little strong.

My biggest concern with the M6 is blowing codes and maybe losing power with no tune.

What do you guys with more experience with this car recommend? I don't like the really quiet factory exhaust.

CEL will come on with no cats. Sound is absolutely amazing with no cats when matched with an exhaust like you are getting.

I installed the same kit you are looking for.
I think it is the best sounding exhaust system when adding the catless downpipes. Everyone compliments me on the exhaust tone. Sounds like an absolute beast !! Cold start up is insane ! Your neighbors will hate you lol
But, you will get a check engine light on. I just recently re-installed the factory cats. Lost a lot of the aggressive tone but "Check engine" light is clear and it performs a little bit better now.

Did you put it on the Dyno with and then without cats? What were the numbers?

Yes. The stock exhaust system produced more gains then the full catless exhaust system. Both cars had no type of "piggy back'.
Stock engine software.
We ran both cars back to back.
I can look up the dyno charts. I have them somewhere.

See if you can pull up the Dyno sheets. Would be interesting to see the results with a piggy back tune as well.

It was myself and another forum member here.
He had a stock M6 coupe and I ran the M6 gran coupe with GT Haus catless exhaust setup.
I will contact him and see if we can find the sheets. It was a couple months ago.
I did not dyno any of them with BMS.
But with just exhaust dyno runs..the stock M6 out performed the catless exhaust system.
