Ordered my car the beginning of March. I had originally intended to take European Delivery the end of May but, seeing as I was in England for a couple of weeks in April, decided to forego that. The main reason I had to order the car was because I wanted a manual - there were none in the western part of the States.

Specs: 2015, Tanzanite Blue, Amaro Brown Full Merino interior, CP, EP, 343M forged black wheels, manual.

I had never seen Tanzanite Blue in the flesh, as it were, but I've been blown away by how the car looks. The blue/black combo combined with the brown interior and the rusty shades of the Carbon Fibre roof just seem to fit perfectly together. And the blue changes so much depending on the sunlight. In bright sunlight the different shades of blue metallic are picked out, whereas in darker light the car can look anywhere from a rich dark blue, to purple to almost black. I would recommend it to anyone. Funnily enough, that was the one part of the order that I was a bit unsure about but now I'm more than pleased.

I'm loving driving the car around, windows down, listening to the exhaust note. I like the understated sound of the stock exhaust. Very BMW. Before the car arrived I was reading the comments on this forum and I had thought about getting an after market exhaust but I really don't think I will now. If I do anything maybe I'll add the exhaust meister.

I've attached a few photos. As they say in the mother country, I feel like the dogs bollocks driving this thing.

Can anyone spot the deliberate mistake?.........

Stunning, makes me miss my 2013 manual M5! Consider a short shifter and clutch plate - have both brand new if you want.

Deliberate mistake - chrome window surround? I didn't know you could spec that outside the middle east (without going individual).

As far as i know,you can order aluminium trim..it is option 3MB.

Seen it on a manual M6 vert a couple of years back. I'm not sure if it's a manual thing or just an obscure option but it's been around for a while.

Yes. in manual cars the cup holder is behind the iDrive controller and ashtray is in front of gearbox lever

Dumbo got it right. The satin aluminum trim was added by mistake. Now, what do I do? The other half doesn't like it. I'm on the fence.

BMW Concord is the dealership.

And that left rear seat belt fastener has been bugging me as well. I'll have to tuck it down somewhere. Zlaatan - now that is what I call observant.

On the manual front - I just love being able to control the gear ratios. Changing down it's pretty spectacular when the car adjusts to match the rev count (is that the correct way of describing it?)
