IND cosmetic package

I received today the IND cosmetic package (i chose the gloss black front and side grill and SM Blue front and rear reflectors). Any special instructions in replacing those? I want to do the swap today. I searched the forum, but did not find any DIY on them. I did the kidney grill myself on the 750Li...is it pretty much the same? Any tips on how to remove the rear reflectors? Any info greatly appreciated.

For the grill you need to remove a plastic cover in the engine bay and then carefully pull the front bumper forward to pop the stocks out. If you want to DIY would be best to get a friend to help. As far as the reflectors go, I'm not sure, I kept the stocks, but by simply looking at them I'd say the bumpers need to come off.

This thread shows pictures of front and rear reflectors being installed. I don't know if it's the only way to do it but in this one they remove the bumpers.

Thanks for the reply. I will post pictures later. I installed the front and rear reflectors w/out removing any of the bumpers.(easy) along with BMC filters.
My front and side grill did not ship until today, so next week will do that.

The best way to do it for both reflectors and grills is to take off the bumper... I suppose you can try it without, but it hasn't been recommended and there's a risk scratching the car

As far as the side grills, they're supposed to come off with a bondo spreader, but I had a real hard time getting them off. Ultimately had my dealer do it (30 minutes labor charge)

Very interested in how you popped out the reflectors and changed them out. Looking forward to your write up.

Also, I am really diggin' the smoked roundels. That is paint I assume? What color code?

The rear reflectors popped off really easy and the fronts were also not bad...remove 2-3 screws on the fender line to get to the camera, unplug it and remove the 2 screws that holds it, than just swap the reflectors and put everything back...was seriously easy and w/out having to remove any of the bumpers.

Man, i am very bad at write ups...sorry, if you want to pm me your number, than i'll call you and maybe i can try to describe what i did...seriously was not hard...
The roundels are smoked vinyl, same as what i did to the reverse lights and if you notice, i did a 1/4" black gloss vinyl all around the taillights. The same black gloss vinyl was used for the bottom part of the bumper around the exhaust tips.

The way the sun hits the paint in those pics is badass. I've never seen this paint color in person but I bet it looks pretty sick.

When you gonna mount some wheels up on that bad boy?

KBC,
Definitely order your M3 in the combo you mentioned, it will look awesome. If i would've ordered the M6, that's the combo i would've picked.

Brian... When I saw M6Beast, my Eseries M was sold in less than a week. Dunno why, but I went SG on this one. I love it in the sun, but a CP is likely in my near future and it will be White more than likely. SM Blue is incredible, but I am what they call "Chicken"!

What did you use to pop off the rear reflectors?

The fronts were very easy but I am not sure what to use (tool) to pop off the rears.

^^ Never mind... Just took a really small flat head screwdriver and popped them off. No damage at all and pretty easy.
