For those w/Manual M6 and CP

For the ones that have had their manual M6 WITH CP for a while, what are your daily settings and I'm not talking about seat position? Ha

I'm finding the steering nor does the damping really need to be moved to sport, or sport+ but haven't had this one too long and it's been brutally cold to play.

Personally I find the efficiency settings to be WAY too loose for me. I'm coming from an E92 M3, so maybe that's part of it. I leave damping on sport, as sport plus is too firm for my bad roads, but comfort makes the handling a bit too soft/sloppy for me. Steering in sport, again the comfort setting is too unresponsive, without the right feel/feedback for me. sport+ is a bit heavy, but I'm slowly acclimating myself to it, as I like the feedback it gives. I rented a 458 for a day, and it had amazing feedback with a very light wheel.... I keep engine in sport, but hopefully when we get warm dry roads it'll live in sport+ unless my wife is driving.

Thanks. I had a DCT '13 M5 and figured that out pretty good. I obviously need more seat time. It would be nice to see a temperature above 40 first!

Around my area, I'm finding Sport/Sport/Sport/D3 to be my favorite.

I set Sport+ for all three. Occasionally I set suspension damping to comfort or sport when the better half complains but I try to avoid it. There's a big difference between engine in efficient and sport+.

With a manual transmission I find driving in Efficient throttle mode to be ridiculous. The lag makes timing your shifts really annoying. I'm sure it's bearable with DCT. In Sport+ the rev matching is turned off so that's a little rough for daily driving with a MT and all that horsepower. I use Sport+ on the highway, though.

I am finding the efficient mode for throttle response annoying. Thought it was me and could still be, but I will move to sport and see WTH happens. Hehe

Manual trannys are so much more engaging than the DCT (which my M5 had). But I can see the case for either.
