[PICS] Freshly Painted Blue Calipers & Polished ADV1s

Just got the calipers and freshly polished ADV1s back on the ride. RPI Air Scoops were painted the same color as the calipers - you can barely see em' peeking through the kidneys.

It's still a work in progress but the car is coming along pretty good.

Looks amazing Brian. Enjoy. Unfortunately ADV.1 screwed up my order and now have to start from scratch so I have no idea on the ETA of my wheels.

Next up is to paint the orange reflectors and also paint the silver on the door handles. I need to do something with the chrome oval Eisenmann tips as well so I think I will powder coat them black.

I have the diffuser on now but it needs to be re-worked because the stock mounting locations do not keep it flush against the lower bumper so I am going to play with it a bit.

I was a little reluctant to go with such a wild/bright blue on the calipers but I am glad I did because the wheels and calipers compliment each other nicely.

What I love about this hobby is that everyone has a different vision, idea, or look they are trying to achieve. From the murder out look, to the rose gold wheels, to the anodized red wheels, it's all different and it's all great. I love it.

I went through a great deal of struggle with my ADV1s as well. It sounds like you are going through something different than me but still a problem nonetheless. I am not going to bash ADV1 because the wheels are badass but getting them and getting them "right" seems to be tough for them. Their customer service is very responsive and polite but all that fades when in the end you just want your damn wheels (done right). I will say once you get the wheels they are beautiful and you will be happy (at least I am).

They gave me a free t-shirt though. I tried for the titanium lug nuts but they apparently were not hearing me... T-Shirt it was!

Dead serious. They did them with exposed hardware (I chose hidden) and the wrong finish but since they were 2 weeks ahead of the 6 week date they had promised me they are now promising to build me another set as quickly as possible and aren't offering much in terms of compensation. I am trying to get titanium lugs as well like Brian did but I doubt they will come through.

Thank you. It's lowered on KW HAS Kit adjusted all the way down on all four corners.

I used KW HAS kit on the previous car. I loved the way it looked and rode perfect.
