M6 competition vs CLS 63 amg performance

I'm coming from a 2011 M3 and I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these two. Which car is faster?

The M6 coupe with CP is definitely faster and in my opinion a much nicer looking car . It's also a ton of fun to drive .

Check my video review, I had the same choice problem. I ended up picking M6 coupe, because it is A LOT more fun to drive. Also, I can't live without BMW's heads up display, but maybe it's just me.

Apart from its drive, the M6 just looks so much better than the CLS. I don't like all of the carnival-style lights on the CLS.

I chose an M6, but the CLS is faster becuase of the awd. Check you tube they have a test between the two. CLS faster to 60 and 1/4 mile

I thought that would be the case. I haven't driven the CLS, but spent a good deal of time in the SL63 before deciding on the M6. The SL is faster, but the M6 is the better car.

Actually The M6 is faster in multiple tests , .ie it traps higher/ faster from a roll . The competition ion pack M6 can do 11.6 in the 1/4 so that's equal to the ppk CLS63 4matic and traps significantly faster . Yes the AWD will get the CLS63 AMG to 60 faster , but that's it . Steering feel , performance in the corners the M6 CP wins hands down . Without the Power pack the CLS63 AMG loses in all counts .

Test I saw that was not the case. I realize I saw the BMW M5 Comp Pack vs E63 Perf Pack in Motortrend. Here were results

M5

1/4 Mile 11.9 @ 122.2

Not the best comparison, the M5 is slower than the M6 all around.

They are both fast cars, no doubt about it, but I still say the M6 is more fun, better.

Since when are the M5 and M6 the same car lol . The M5 in that test also trapped higher , I.e is the faster car . The Benz was quicker , not faster

No I know, i remembered incorrectly bc I had seen another test between the RS7, CLS63, and M6 so I mixed the tests into one hahaha
