640 I f13 oil change

Hello everybody I have to change my oil on my f13 coupe 640I.
First what's the best oil I think BMW is castrol but what's the best range and viscosity
Then the drain plug is like the other BMW ?
Need which tool
And for the filter housing need which wrench ?

Oil filter housing is 21 or 24 mm like e63/64?

BMW is currently specifying Shell I think. You can see the grade/spec in the OM.

Shell since 2014 but my car is from 2012 I think it was castrol or Mobil 1

BMW used to be Castrol, BMW supplied oil is now from Shell.

Despite the change being in 2014 there is still cars with oil caps with BMW Castrol on...like mine from 2015....
