Coding for folding mirrors and key control roof

Hi guys

I just picked up my 640d convertible yesterday and noticed the wing mirrors do not fold in when keeping the lock button held down (it used to do this in my 640d coupe).

After doing a bit of research I have found a potential solution but just thought I'd see if anyone on here has got any ideas. The Smart Top module, quiet expensive at the best part of £400 fitted but will it also allow me to fold the mirrors via my key fob?

was the car purchased from a dealer, of so take it back and ask them to code it up, if not plenty of coders out there that'll do it for about £80 or so, just search out on google in your area

It was purchased from bmw. I'll try the dealers but I'm sure they'll charge an arm and a leg for it.

My dealer won't do it ... I guess I need to find an independent shop in South Fla (Fort Lauderdale/Miami) ... Any suggestions?

Dealerships lack the necessary software to code.
