My new (to me) M6

After months of searching, I finally picked up this M6 that checked all the boxes for me!! A big shout out to Flying Ace for helping me find this beauty. Car is fully loaded outside of MCCB and night vision. Now I'm on a 1700 mile road trip to bring her back to California

Do you mind sharing the specs and price you paid?

$63k with fees, excluding tax.

'14 all options except metallic color and CCB. 31k miles. CPO, 4 more months of original maintenance. Mine also came with Akra MPE, M Performance electronic steering wheel, and M Performance CF spoiler.. I value my car without the extras at $60k. I feel like I paid $3k over market, but mine was pretty unique with the add ons.

Looks like you bought a M5 instead of a M6 GC?

Beautiful... the long haul drive home is a great way to get to know your new car... I brought mine back to Florida from Indiana over a two day trip that took me through "Tail of the Dragon".... it was a BLAST! Enjoy and post more pix!

Sure, it was 57k before CA taxes, so about 62k after tax.

That's one heck of a deal.
Have a safe drive back to CA.
Btw, not that you have to worry about this right away but if your car wasn't made to pass emissions in CA then you might run into some emissions issues down the road. Happened to me on another M6GC that I was having transferred by Carmax. They couldn't get the car to pass smog and had to send it back
Hope that isn't the case for you though

well, that's not good! Here's the thing though...BMW (and all other car manufacturers) has a 7-year CA emissions warranty. Seems pretty draconian to send it back just for a failed emissions test. So long as all your emissions equipment is stock, BMW by state law and its warranty has to cover all the parts for 7-years, in other words, they have to make sure it passes.

I wouldn't be too concerned. For my car, I am slightly concerned, b/c I have the M Peformance Akra exhaust. Though based on my understanding, no cats were modified or removed as part of the system, and it was an original street legal BMW part...so it should also be covered. On top of this, it was installed (by a prior owner) at a BMW dealership. That's a fight I'll fight later down the road if emissions becomes an issue, though I have all the confidence it'll pass emissions.

If you end up having issues with emissions, we can temporarily swap exhausts
