M6 Wheels on 640 GC

Will the M6 COUPE (or GC) wheels fit on the 640 GC?

Also, what are the specs of the M6 vs 640 20" MSport wheels?

Thanks!!!

The body style of the regular 6 and the M6 are the same. So no wider arches/wheel wells. This has been confirmed by a member that retrofitted the M6 bumper F&R on his 650i GC. So I assume the wheels should be no problem at all!

Specs are f 9x20 and r 10.5x20
No idea on offset.

If you find out that offsets I could tell you. 9 in the front and 10.5 in the rear will fit, it just depends on the offset.

For the M6 wheels, they are:

Front wheels: 20x9.5" ET31
Rear wheels: 20x10.5" ET19

Ya, I know the widths will fit, just want them to be flush (or close to flush) with the fender. Right now i have 22x9 F and 22x10.5 R and they fit fine

I would be worried about the rears sticking out too much. Stock wheels are 33 offset in front on 8.5 wide wheel and 44 offset in the rear on 9 wide wheel.

The fronts will be about the same but the rears will be about 1.2 inches further out.

The suspension and brakes are different I think--- not sure about the rear fenders...

but If my wheels (10.5) with a 19 offset would sit outside of your fenders that means you have a slightly less aggressive fender line.

I think it would clear everything. But as Vic55 said, it won't be flush.

If you want them flush there are probably some replicas out there that would work. But I am not sure about the quality.

according to WHEEL OFFSET CALCULATOR
http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator

for Rear Wheels
Current Wheel Specs
Width 9 inches Offset 44 mm --> 6 GC Wheel Specs

New Wheel Specs
Width 10.5 inches Offset 19mm --> F12/F13 M6 Wheel Specs

Results
Inner Clearance: 6mm MORE (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)

Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 44mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)

look like dose not fit

same problems here, i am looking for 343m wheels on 6 GC but can not find any information about fitment

Front fenders are different for sure. M6 has a line that goes down below the side marker (M6) emblem, other 6 series do not. Different brakes, suspension, etc. See if someone near you will let you try on their wheels. They may work, but some of the statements made here aren't accurate, beware.
