Active Roll Stabilization on 2012 650i xDrive
I just took delivery of my 2012 650 i xdrive convertible. Awesome car! The car has the dynamic drive package and my dealer told me the the active roll stabilization option was part of that package.
Can anybody verify that? Thanks

In Europe option 229 Dynamic Drive is not a package, but the singel option where you get the active roll stabilization. But it can only be picked together with 223 Dynamic Damper Control (the comfort-normal-sport-sport+function).
229 Dynamic Drive + 223 Dynamic Damper Control = 2VA Adaptive Drive. Hence 2VA Adaptive Drive is the "package" that includes ARS. Options might be put together in a different way in the US though.

+1 what super speed said. In Singapore, my incoming F13 640i comes with the box "Adaptive Drive" ticked - and that includes the 229 Dynamic Drive + 223 Dynamic Damper Control which also incorporates the Active Roll Stabilization.

In the US, DD and DDC are standard with ARS a separate option which cost about $2,000. If you have that option you should see it in the price sheet.
The 6 series comes with an air suspension as standard right, I know it is on our 7 because you can see the cars height increase and decrease. |
