WSJ reviews the M6

This quote pretty much sums it up:
"A glowing, lapidary example of modern car-building, a heavy-bomber of the autobahn, the new M6 is a tire-slayer, mind-blower, budget-buster, the flume of doom. I love it.

But how easy would it be to lose your license? Like falling off a log."

I read the review as well. I think he is wrong on the engine piping sound though. As far as I know, that was only applied to the M5. Unless BMW did the same thing on the M6 coupe. I have a convertible and I'm pretty sure the verts don't have it.

The M6 also has Active Sound Design technology.

If that is the case, is that the cause of the unusual snap, crackle and popping noises I whined about before? Or was that issue already resolved? My dealer still cannot tell me.
