line assist

I have a question regarding line assist - in Audi it drives the car for a while until you have to take the steering wheel..in my GC 2014 it does not, any experience? can it be coded?

That's what they said about the BMW i3 as well. But my 2014 I3 drives itself, staying in the lane, with a simple code & $299 module.

If your 6 series has adaptive cruise control, soon a module will be released where it can also drive itself inside CLEARLY marked lanes.

Would love to know more about this - do you have a link or source to do some reading? I actually normally leave the lane assist turned off because it gets annoying - all other nanny systems I leave on and find helpful.
