2015 650i Gran Coupe Oil leak problems
Hi all,
Glad to join this community. I recently bought my 650i. Last week, it was leaking oil and got it's pan and gasket replaced. I thought that was it. Today, I pull into my driveway and it is leaking quite a bit of oil. I am kind of upset, but not too mad. The dealer I bought it from takes care of me pretty well and I have a 3 year 50k mile warranty on it so if anything goes wrong besides brakes and tires it is covered. I just want to be able to drive this car without it having this happen to it ugh. Have any of you had similar oil leak problems, if so, please share below. (I think previous owner neglected it:cheap tires and brakes, take 5 oil instead of dealer etc.) so that could have something to do with it. I am not worried because I have the warranty, but I want to get to the bottom of this so I can drive my car hard without having to worry about it. Thanks. |

check the valve cover gaskets. The oil drops usually look like they are coming from the top rear of each bank. This is a general BMW "feature". The leak is often mistaken for an oil pan gasket leak
