Nav screen dims during the day
I am absolutely frustrated with my nav screen. During the day it is impossible to see anything since the screen constantly dims on and off every couple of seconds. Does anyone know if this is a common issue and if there are any quick fixes? I have tried to go through the settings and have searched the forums. The only reason I have not taken my car to service is because HUD is what I have gotten used to using during the day and I simply don't have time to deal with it.
Any help is greatly appreciated! EDIT: I have a 2014 M6 coupe |

That's defective LCD. This issue has been already addressed. You need to have dealer replaced the LCD unless the LCD is constantly overheating (by sun light) to activate the protection feature (on and off).
