Launch control.

Just curious. How many have used it. How often etc. I've heard there is a limiter in how much you can use ?

In owning my F06 for 2 months I've done it twice. Only plan to do it when going for timings in the future.

I have had my F06 also for just a few months. I will try Launch Control when I purchase the BM3 tune for (performance) testing purposes.
Tried launch control just a few times on my F32 to time 0-100 km/h number some time ago.
I am not likely to reach that "limiter" you are speaking of.

Same here. I want to do some timings right before and then after I get my BM3 tune. I want to get this done before the end of November to beat the snow.

I had to code it in to my '14 I used it a couple times then forgot about it. When my iDrive got "upgraded" this feature got wiped and I havent really missed it.

It's a lot of fun, but you kinda know its beating the hell out of everything so it takes a lot of fun out of it. With my Meisterschaft exhaust its a little hard to do without attracting a LOT of attention (police) and quickly getting to stupid speeds for street.

My first car was a Porsche 914 in someways it was more fun because you could drive it flat out and be legal at the same time. Different strokes for different folks.
