CLS63 now, M6 later!

As much as I love the M6, I got an incredible offer for a CLS63 that i couldn't refuse. So I will save some money and enjoy the AMG performance now, then "upgrade" to a M6 in 3-5 years. Sounds like a plan!!!

Have you test drove both then?.
I drove the Merc CLS63 and could not like it at all.

Can't live without the heads up display lol. Plus the new CLS just came out, m6 should be good until 2017-2018.
But it was a hard pick for me too, I love the steering wheel in AMG's, very comfy ride, congrats!

Oh no, 2015 just announced, DOH! Well, the first ones probably won't arrive until mid-2016 where I'm at so that's a whole year without AMG power if I waited (but then no super deal). I do like the new front exterior, more sporty and aggressive LIKE THE M6, but I hate how MB now adds a larger Screen that is NOT embedded in the console, looks like someone added a garmin device. Saw it in the CLA, and hated it. So I guess I will be perfectly fine until the new M6 arrives!

Worked on a CLS 63 S recently
What a beast !! Stock it pulls harder then M6 with burger tune and full exhaust.
Tons of torque !!! You'll have fun !

That was the car I was GOING to buy. I still have a little dissonance, but I'm very happy with the M6. For me, I'm just one option away on both from complete enjoyment - I wish the CLS63 AMG 4Matic S had a DCT, and I want AWD on the M6 (I'm running mods and break the tires loose way too easily). I was thinking about the s63 AMG coupe next, but the refreshed CLS could steer me away...

Same! I hate the new big screen, looks a bit cheap. I like older 2012-2014 model better.

Anyone here do a side by side exhaust comparison between the M6 and CLS63? Reviews say the M6 is a bit muffled?!?

Stock exhaust on the M6 is not good enough but it's an easy fix #Akrapovic.
