Well, I think they are managing the 6 brand poorly. Coupe means coupe.

The market has been receptive to this kind of thing.

Some angles make it look like the bastard child of an unholy Audi + Volvo coupling.

A little of this goes a long way.

Not for me.

BMW has discovered that the 5GT in some markets, is taking sales from the 7 series. I'm afraid the 6 Gran Coupe will do the same... I do hope the 6 Gran Coupe has a little more difference from the 6er than just 2 more doors.

BMW's purpose with the 6 GC is to take sales from its 5 sedan if possible to increase profits and to ensure that current owners don't stray to Merc, Audi, Lexus, etc. Its a good move on their part, especially if it keeps people in the BMW family.

I hope you're correct. I hate to see people driving the competition, I just hope that it does tale sales away from Merc, Audi, Lexus etc.. and not from its own stable...

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Why do those being called coupe. In french a coupe is a 2 door. Anyhow I dont like the 6 front and that car is too long. The A7 is ugly only the cls looks good. But these cars are too pricey. The 5er is a better buy then this so does the e class over the cls so does the a6 over the a7. These cars must be really profitable for those carmakers. Take a regular car tweak it a bit charge 20-30K more.AHHHH

Your rendering is very good. But If I must be critical... Then the rear quarter light is not a seperate piece. If you look at the spy photographs you can see the rear hoffmeister is attached to the door glass not seperately as shown in your render.
