Ya, 160k base. Just like how a Porsche 991 TT is 150 base You better be prepared with some diamonds, caribbean vacations, or some weekend antiquing...

The new Benz's are amazing but, the S63 wont embarrass your M6.
But they both are amazing vehicles in their own rights.
I've had the privilege to work on and drive both extensively.
More so with the CLS 6.3S AMG
A tuned (157.985) has more torque then a (S63T) but the M6 still pulls at the high end, in regards to just software added.
There are more performance options available for the AMG line which will make it a killer for anyone with the right amount of $$$ to dump into it.
The 6.3's are beasts !!!!
Currently I have a friends CLS 6.3 that slowly is getting modded using Weistec's performance line. Amazing car to drive.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a new M6. I have driven the new 5.5 Liter V8 Biturbo in E63 and CLS form. These cars are just wicked and fun to drive. My problem, where I live, everybody and their grandma has a Mercedes. Hell, I still own a modified W211 E55. No exclusivity and the AMGs even though badged and equipped with all the go fast goodies, just blend in. Probably a dumb reason of not buying a car but to each is his own.

How did you find the "Infotainment system" on the Mercs?.
Here in the UK they are crap compared to BMW.

The E55 is truly one of my favorites. Not sure how to explain it, in its current form, its just RAW unadulterated power. I have owned for awhile and it still puts an evil grin on my face every time I drive it.

As for the M6, how can you go wrong? I would welcome any comments from owners who have had their beast for several months. Will the car keep my attention?

That does surprise me TBH, none of my friends think the Mercedes system is better than BMW.
