[QUOTE=wujekwaldus;19274961]I found this somewhere in the internet:
Its Rs7 with performance package,
vs M6 Gran Coupe Competition
vs Cadillac CTS-V
vs Mercedes-AMG CLS63 S 4matic

RS7 with performance package gives 7.7s 100-200, 14.9s 100-250, this is not event close to M6 Coupe Competition(575), but faster than M6 GC CP600.
Nice results - Better than R8 V10 Plus 1Gen... :O

I think M6 engines vary in output quite a bit. I can imagine a particular non CP car being faster than a certain CP car.

My 2014 M6 GC CP is rated at 575. According to several measurments with Insoric it puts out 611 to the wheels!

I consider the 600HP CP to be pure marketing stunt

CP575 vs CP600

There is a factory option - Power Kit - for CP575 M6/M5 with DCT
With that Power Kit you can upgarde the car from CP575 to CP600.
I have already upgraded my CP575 M6 to CP600.
As for the HP increase, my butt dyno does not sense any significant difference between the power range.

I have Awron display installed in M6, which displays actual ECU datas (measured datas and calulcated datas), and this displas shows calculated HP and NM.

The max calculated ECU datas were:
- CP575: 589 BHP, 717NM
- CP600: 592 BHP, 727NM
(Whatever does it mean)

If it does not exist, than what was installed in my f13 m6? I have ordered it, and been there during software upgrade with ISTA/P.
So again, it is exists. Installed on my f13 M6. With offical FSC code even provided to install with ISTA/P.

No problem, just drop me a message, before you enter the city. Where are you located?

If looking for your F12/13 used then would not fuss over CP... but if you are buying new in 16 - go for it. Start at 600 - suspension bit's etc...

Maybe one day I'll compare CP575 vs CP600 and post the results here.

AutoBild has some strange results in their tests...
I've seen a lot of BS and I haven't bought their magazine due to this reason...
Anyway, I don't know how much does matter 1 second in choosing a car. In my view this difference can be easily done by the driver!

I'am going to stay at Marriot Hotel or Intercontinental, it's cheap and there are nice views from the window

anyway, I found Competition 600 vs 575 comparation but for gran coupe.
According to this data:
http://www.**************.com/thread...a-turbo.50100/
(german car forum is censored? )

and the picture from previous page. we have:

BMW M6 Gran Coupé Competition 575:
0-100 km/h: 3,9 s
0-160 km/h: 7,9 s
0-200 km/h: 11,9 s
0-250 km/h: 18,4 s
Quarter mile: 11,93 s

BMW M6 Gran Coupé Competition 600:
0-100 km/h: 4,0 s
0-160 km/h: 8,0 s
0-200 km/h: 11,9 s
0-250 km/h: 19,2 s
Quarter mile: 11,92 s

so CP600 is slower than CP575 (100-250km/h) (!) and CP575 is faster from roll than RS7 Performance (again 100-250).

Word is strange

Seems like BS to me

I had the M5 575 and it was 605 hp stock , this 600 hp CP must be faster or something new , because even BMW has a upgrade of 1000 $ for people who have the 575 and wants to upgrade to 600hp ... placebo effect?

My M6 Competition put out about 20hp more on the dyno than a non Comp package.. I went to a tuner that does a ton of M5, M6s and they were all surpised. The comp package def comes with a little more juice than a Non M. I also had all my general software upgraded at the dealer 2 mo ago and noticed even faster results from my 14 M6...

In the end, if you throw a tune on your car, it doesnt matter if you get the Comp or Non Comp or the 575 / 600hp factory software.. I got the Comp Package for the stiffer bushings, better active M diff, bigger sway bars, lowered suspension, revised dampners and steering.. the little extra power was not the deciding factor, BUT it certainly true they are faster from the factory..
