Realistically, it would probably need to be replaced. The material itself shrinks from being in the sun too much and pulls back. Whether a good upholstery shop could steam or otherwise stretch it you would have to ask, but there is no way they could do it with the dash in the car even with the windshield out, and no upholstery shop will remove that dash. So you'd need to pay a hefty price to someone else to have it removed and reinstalled then hope it holds. I have a habit of putting in a sun shield that totally covers the front edge when I park even for 10 minutes.

And FYI, I just looked and a new leather dash (yours is leather) is just under $3,000 from online sellers before shipping. Assuming you have HUD, the part number is 51459240776. Google that and you can see prices.

The two options he provided were to remove the windshield, which isn't a bad thing if you're thinking of replacing the window trim, then go from there, or to pull the entire dash out. If you're going to pull it for repair, you're better off replacing it with a better condition part There are approximately $500–1500 dashes from the pull yards, but not all of them are flawless. Given that you're in Florida, wait out another storm flood and visit one of those yards for the dash. |

This seems to be common with leather BMW dashes. Our X5 one pulled away and BMW fixed it under warranty. I went to look at quite M6s recently and 3 of them had dashes that were pulled back by the windshield.
A good upholstery shop can fix that, some will even remove it from the car. I have a shop by me that redid the headliner and leather in one of my restorations and every time I went there they had dashes they were redoing, saw a few 911 dashes in there last time. One question, is the dash the same between the F12, F13 and F06?

This will also list any dash part nbrs that are older or newer that are retroactively exchangeable or exchangeable…or not exchangeable. It will also list the build date range a particular part number was used and again, if it can only be used in a specific build date range (if it is not exchangeable).
