Auto high beam with led headlights
There are a few vids on YouTube that shows when you have your auto high beam on the lights separately move around to avoid blinding other cars.
Apparently this is possible when you have xenon lights, but not with the led headlights. Can anyone confirm, because if it does work with the led's I'm going to ask my dealer to program it? |

Not true. Definitely works with LED. I have them. Nothing to program. There's a button on the left lever that you push in to enable the feature-at least on my 650xi GC. Nice feature.

1. The one I also have; with upcoming traffic the high beam shuts itself automatically off and if passed it goes back on. 2. If traffic is in front of you, or upcoming the headlights turn away or one headlight shuts off so they don't blind the drivers. What does your 6 do? |

The only thing that works with the LED lights is the High Beam Assistant---this dips the headlamps when a car comes the other way or when you drive in to a lit area.
The individual "intelligent" movement of the LED headlamps is not yet available on the 6 series. This video shows how they work on the 7 series |

According to codemycar.com it can be coded, but you need the right options, and only works on 2014 and up. Here is some more reading http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=884103
