Quick DIY- Hamann style lip

Hey guys,
Just installed the lip this weekend and it's pretty straightforward and simple. Definitely, not something that you should pay a shop to do. It took me about 1 1/2 hrs, only because I was working on it on my back, screwing everything using a tiny Phillips. If you have access to a lift, it can probably be done in about 1/2 hr using a power drill. My low profile floor jack didn't fit underneath the front so I had to do everything manually with the car on the ground.
1. Parts needed:
3x bags of #8 x 1 1/4" screws ( I just used pan head Phillips from HD)
1x bag of #8 flat washers
short Phillips screwdriver
8mm socket + ratchet

2. The lip will use 6 existing screw holes (3 on each side) underneath the stock Msport bumper. Another 16 holes will have to be drilled and screws attached.

3. Test fit to make sure everything fits as should and that you know exactly which screws to remove. In that past, I've normally used 3M tape in addition to screws but it would be difficult with this lip because you'll need to adjust the lip slightly after the initial few screws are put in.

4. Remove the 6 rear screws (3 on each side) from your bumper. Use a 8mm socket/ratchet.

5. Replace the 6 screws with new #8 x 1 1/4" screws/washers. Don't tighten all the screws until after you've aligned all 6 screws with the stock holes. This will hold the bumper up to allow you to screw the remaining 16 screws through the lip, into your bumper. Again, I couldn't use a power drill so I had to apply pressure to screw into the bumper. This was tough on the hands even though I used my ratchet+Philips head.

6. Final product.

Overall, I'm happy with the lip and the quality was actually better than I expected for the $400 price tag. I ordered from a local vendor and received it in 1 day. There was only 1 of the 6 initial screws that I had an issue aligning the hole with but after working it a bit, it was able to get tight. Compared to pics of an original Hamann, I, honestly, can't tell the difference. Highly recommended upgrade.

P.S.-I also have 2 other DIY's for brake pads/rotor replacement and brake fluid change if anyone is in need of them. Just PM me.
