Color temp for 6-series LED fogs??

Does anyone know the approx color temp (kelvin) of the OEM LED 6-series fogs? Do they have any variance w/ different models?

I have an e90 335i that I recently did a M-Sport front end conversion and I plan on retrofitting a set of led fogs from a 6-series.

Any advice would be helpful!

thanks

I'd say it's much higher than 6 K. I'll see if I can measure it - I have a spectrophotometer.

Mine is an eye1 (I1) produced by Gretag-Macbeth, used for profiling computer monitors and printers - it is not designed for measuring fog lights! However, photographing a known white paper in the light of the fog lamp with a profiled camera, the temperature of the white paper can be measured.

If you have a profiled monitor you don't actually need the instrument. You can photograph white paper (making a RAW file) and measure the temperature with several RAW processors like Capture One or Adobe Lightroom.
