Quick question, I am assuming that EU front tag is just mounted with double sided tape, correct?

Yes the front EU plate is mounted by double sided tape.

You know, looking at the pics of your car at the BMW Welt I realize how excited you must have been taking the delivery of your car. I'm excited to see the pics so I can't imagine your level of euphoria at the time.

A few weeks ago I was there too, as a spectator, and saw some new owners taking delivery of their cars. What a wonderful experience it must be! I've done the SC X5M delivery and it was awesome, so I imagine the Munich experience only magnifies it.
