So I Dyno/Tuned my F06 this week
Ive been running a Burger PiggyBack for a few months and last week installed my MSR intake, thanks for George for all of the assistance!
Two months ago I emailed Jerry at Eurocharged here in Houston (branches elsewhere, but home base is here). We scheduled an appt for this past Tuesday. With a rough start of the day, we get the car tied down on their DynoJet. Eurocharged has the best dyno machine that DynoJet offers (model: 424xLC2) for AWD w/ Eddy Current Load Control option and the 424 Linx System option. This means the front wheels will be spinning at the same speed as the rear wheels giving it a true rolling experience (the car won't throw reduced power warnings). So first thing we did a pull after the car was all lined up to see where we would start. This is the car with MSR intake only, stock exhaust. 565.03whp and 623.61 ft lbs of tq. First run out of the gate after the tune was 623.61whp and 620.67 ft lbs tq The process is involved and time consuming with the ECUs. Each run had to download the data and upload to the computer, make adjustments to each parameter to tweak, save, download and upload back to the car. After 4 or so more runs and some fine tuning on the higher end of the RPM band, we ended the day with 632 whp and 642 ft lb tq with room for more timing and tweaking at a later date. Thats all I have for now. Brian is coming down in a bit for some tuning and turbo work, once we see those results we will get some more tuning done on this one.

I dont feel right now the gains are where they CAN be, but its time consuming and we just ran out of time. I know we have room to add timing across the board, jsut have to find the time.

Did you Dyno stock before any improvements? If so, what were those numbers?

I know you and I have chatted offline extensively on your trip there. As I said to you I think you made good power but I definitely think there is more in there he can get out of it. I would take another trip there soon so his willingness to have you come back is not forgotten.
I talked to Jerry extensively about his dyno and how the power is rated in comparison to others. It seems their dyno is fairly accurate as they have done extensive testing against know engine HP on the AMG C63s. So if you put down a true 639whp that is fuckin' great man! I am really excited for my upcoming trip there myself! Brian
