High Mileage M6 Purchase

What's up everyone. I'm looking for advice on a possible purchase of a 2013 F13 M6. White on Black. DCT. It's well optioned. Unfortunately, the car has 50,000 miles on it.
Now, I do know the previous owner of the car. He used the car for daily commuting, traveling from state to state for business. The car has up to date service records and checks out fine. The dealer that has the car is a friend of the family and is willing to sell me the car for $60,000. He mentioned that I could purchase an extended warranty for the car since it is out of the factory coverage. (Fidelity warranty or one of several other options)

Is a car of this stature even worth considering with this kind mileage? Even considering an extended warranty and for the price of $60,000. How reliable are these cars.... I currently own a 2015 F10 5 series and a turbo E46 M3. So the M6 would be more of a weekend car. I appreciate all of the advice. Thanks.

The price sounds great. I'm just concerned with the mileage and reliability of the car. The extended warranty does make me feel a little better. Just want to know if this is worth it.

You can get an extended warranty for a very reasonable price (3-5k depending on which one you go with) so as long as the car is in good condition I would say that is a killer price to own an m6.
