Jaguar was at the Circuit of the Americas lately for a press event, so would not be surprised if BMW was doing the same thing.

Looking in the window it looks like the crap seats.
I saw one yesterday in the Munich airport. I thought the seats look good, better than our M5's.

I'll try and swing by the Welt tomorrow and get some pictures.

Thanks. The seats I would like to have are these ones:

You will note that the seats above look sporty, they have a headrest that integrates into the seat back like the ones on the M5.

In addition they match the design language of the back seats to create a coherent interior design.

The seats I do not like are these ones - because they remind me of the 550i seats, they look ordinary with a boxy seat back and a boxy headrest which is completely separate sitting on metal stalks, and they do not match the rear seat design. These look like a Japanese parts bin special rather than a seat made specifically for the M6GC.

It has the ones you want. I'll post the pics later. Better seats, steering wheel.

Does your eyes bleed from being so disgusted with the color? Dude calm down. To each his own. Would you rather BMW offer only one color just to please you over everybody? BTW ! I have never heard someone complain about a color being joyful in a negative way.

I too was at COTA on the Thursday (too bad we didn't chat).

On that day, the M6 GC M Multifunction seat felt stiffer/firmer/tighter than its M5 counterpart. Akin to the difference between the seats in my wife's CLS 63 Biturbo vs those in an E 63 Biturbo, etc.

Yeah thats right. I find the M5 seat provides all day comfort. The M6 seat is good for an hour or two max. They don't have enough cushioning so you get buffeted more when riding the curbs, and also during longer driving sessions, I find the firmer seat places too much pressure on my sciatic nerve.

I also don't like the look of the M6 seat - its very generic - looks same as a 535i multi-function seat except with integrated seatbelt. The M5 seat looks like a performance car seat not a mass market seat. Look at Porsche Panamera seats or Audi S6 seats. They look far less generic than the M6 seat.
